Nexus4CC
Privacy Policy
Effective: August 20, 2026
Purpose and access
Nexus4CC Gmail Review is a personal-use application for the account
owner. It requests only the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly OAuth scope.
Access is used solely to produce a daily, private email review.
Google user data processed
The application verifies the Gmail account and processes messages from the preceding day. The in-memory snapshot is limited to message and thread identifiers, received date, sender, subject, a short Gmail-provided snippet, label identifiers, mailing-list headers, and attachment file names. It does not download attachments and does not persist full message bodies or raw Gmail payloads.
Use, storage, and retention
Google user data is used only to classify recent messages and create a review containing the date, review identifiers, stable message IDs, sender, subject, recommendations, and a completion or failure heartbeat. The review is stored in the owner's private Obsidian Vault. The current review file is replaced by later runs; the owner's private synchronization and version-history settings may retain earlier versions.
OAuth credentials are not handled by this public website. They are kept in restricted local and NAS storage controlled by the account owner and are not written to the Obsidian Vault or the public site.
Sharing and advertising
Nexus4CC does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized models. Data is not shared with other users. Processing is limited to the owner-controlled application and the infrastructure needed to provide it, including Google OAuth, the Gmail API, and the owner's private Obsidian synchronization service.
Limited Use
Nexus4CC's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Control and contact
The account owner can stop the daily job, delete the generated review, and revoke OAuth access at any time through the Google Account permissions page. Privacy questions can be sent to the user-support address displayed on the Nexus4CC Google OAuth consent screen.
